Star Trek the next Generation series is set in the 24th century. Similar to the original Star Trek movie, which made Kirk and Spock household names, the new crew is bolder than ever. Like its predecessor, the original Star Trek series, the plot of the story revolves around missions and adventures, traveling to places where no one has ever set foot in. The cast of the new generation has similar qualities with the original Star Trek crew. They are set on voyage to unfold a 100 year old technological mystery. Their adventures are captured in a starship identified as USS enterprise what they do not know is that the unraveling of this mystery is just the beginning of their quest.
The star trek next generation focuses on the adventures of Captain Jean Lu Picard. Picard is shifting through different time periods, and 25 years in the future, he has been diagnosed with degenerative brain disease. An anomaly that involves the past and the present is also taking place at the same time. These suspicions found humanity to be guilt. This might lead to the destruction and extinction of the human race. Picard is now set to discover how he will eradicate humanity.
It is a complex epic story, which is very different from other adventure movies.
