Enterprise’s Daring Five-year Mission In the mid and late 23rd century, the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 served the Starfleet. It was also in this era that the Enterprise was the most celebrated starfleet in the Star Trek universe. This Enterprise vessel was sent to several missions, from first contacts, time travels to military engagements. In the 2009 Star Trek film, the ship had a refit and incorporated an oversized version of the Enterprise. Almost all enterprise vessels were named with aircraft logic. For one the registry number NNC-1701 were given to star fleets which were registered in the United States. The nunnery 1701 was used in order to avoid confusion between the other Enterprise star fleets bearing the same name. Under the command of captain Kirk, the Enterprise visited various worlds and embarked on a five-year mission to defend the Federation territories from a number of enemies. The Enterprise also went on a voyage to aid other planets that are in crisis and conducted scientific expeditions. The Enterprise was also refereed to as the Federation’s very first controlled time ship, which gave birth to the reality of traveling through time. Captain Kirk’s five-year mission on board the Enterprise NNC 17011 came to an end in 2270. The Enterprise surpassed several years of battle and was later on dubbed as a killing machine. Several of its crew members were also pace on grave danger and even death in the course of its five-year mission.
