Bragging the Klingon’s Negh’Var Each of the species in the hit TV series and movie Star Trek have their own huge warships to defend them and fight against each other. The Klingon’s have their Negh’Var Class Warship. It is the largest class in the Klingon Empire by the late 24th century. It served the whole Klingon Empire and the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance. The design of the starship was patterned from the Vor’cha class which was used over two hundred years ago. It has a bridge module separated from its main body by a thick neck that flares out like wings that contains the impulse engines. The wings have a raised support that contains the warp nacelles. There may be slight differences on the design of the ship from two alternate timelines but the basics remain. Negh’Var is a formidable ship or cruiser with disruptors and photon torpedoes in its armaments and deflector shields and cloaking device on its defense. It has the maximum warp capacity of 9 and escape shuttles for the crew. One design had disruptor emplacements on the tip of the pods located on the underside of the ship‘s belly plus a cloaking device. There are also several disruptors on the aft tips of the primary hull and the front of both wings. In another timeline, the design includes nadion discharges coming from direct energy weapons. The ship seemed formidable and capable of going against other starships but one weakness is its targeting system that could easily be fooled.
