Its main function is to serve as an energy source for the settlements of Ocampa. The caretaker’s array consistently pumps energy to the city of Ocampa. It also aims to protect the said planet. The caretaker array possesses vast amounts of medical, holographic facilities and energy weapons. These armories have the capability to transmit energy to the planet of Ocampa. The caretaker’s array is massive and has a central cylinder with projecting arms. It is also equipped with a displacement wave. This one has the capacity to drag ships from other parts of the galaxy.
The caretaker is originally a member of an alien race who is responsible for the disrupted rainfall cycle of the planet Ocampa.
