Star Trek’s Gul Dukat
Gul Dukat sure has earned the ire of all the trekkies in the world. It only proves that the actor behind this well-known Stark Trek character was able to deliver a performance that is nothing short of compelling.
Gul Dukat, as most trekkies know, is the main antagonist in the fictional television and movie series Star Trek. He belongs to the Cardassian species, a fictional group of species in the television show and movie. He also happens to be the leader of the Cardassian Union.
The character of Dukat has held the military title of Legate. He was the head of the Cardassian occupation government in the planet called Bajor. He also worked as the commander of the station named Deep Space Nine.
Although he’s mostly an enemy, there are also some episodes and scenes where he plays as an ally to the protagonist of the series Benjamin Sisko. At times, he’s ruthless and evil. At other times, he’s charming and even generous. He has the potential to be a good person but he chooses to be evil. He remains to the most developed villain character in the history of Star Trek.
