What’s a ship without a Sulu
Hikaru Sulu joined the USS Enterprise for a five-year exploratory mission under Captain James T. Kirk in the 23rd century as a human Starfleet officer, physicist, and helmsman. After that he joined the USS Enterprise A as helmsman and the USS Excelsior as captain because of his tactical genius and his expertise in the Klingons.
The astroscientist captain was born in San Francisco in 2237 and had a daughter named Demora Sulu. It was 2265 when he was first assigned to the Enterprise as head of the astroscience department, a year later he transferred to the operations department as shift tactical officer and helmsman. That same year he and other crew members fell for the effect of the Psi 2000 intoxication and he began to see himself as the reincarnation of D’Artagnan and used a fencing foil as his sword. The next year they were affected by the spores on the Omicron Ceti III and started to feel like leaving the Starfleet and staying on the planet. When he got well and got back to his duties, he got injured due to a technical malfunction in the ship. It was then that he met his life-long friend Ensign Pavel Chekoy who took his post as he was recovering. In 2269, he broke his leg and in 2270 he was reversed to his nfancy due to being trapped in a holographic recreation room.
It was 2285 when Sulu became commander and began teaching at the Starfleet Academy aboard the Enterprise under Captain Spock. It was actor George Takel who played as Hikaru Sulu.
