Young Wesley Crusher
Wesley Crusher is another human character in the Star Trek series. He appeared in the 1987 film, Star Trek: The Next Generation. Being an Earthling, he is affiliated with the United Federation of Planets.
He is the son of Dr. Beverly Crusher and a Starfleet lieutenant officer who died. His father’s body was carried home by Captain Piccard. He got his incredibly high intelligence quotient and remarkable social skills from his mother. He also has quite a talent in science which they discovered through the Traveller, thus the captain assigned him as an Ensign. He was trained as a space academy cadet to join Starfleet under the Nova Squadron. He had three chances before actually getting the test and joining the fleet. He has troubles as a cadet and was left behind by his batch. He finally resigned his commissions with Starfleet in 2370 after he graduated and went on to explore other planets.
He was this good looking young boy inside a ship full of scientists and the brightest crews of Starfleet who are all grown-up, but somehow, he always finds the solution for the troubles. After he left, he re-appears briefly in Star Trek Nemesis as a Junior Grade Lieutenant. In Star Trek: The Experience, he appears as Lieutenant commander.
