Reminisce the Star Trek Original Series
One of the most famous shows in the history of film and television is Star Trek. It is a futuristic action sci-fi television series that had movie franchises. It was created by Gene Roddenberry during the late 1960s. The show was set in the future during the 2260s in the Milky Way Galaxy and features the adventures of the USS Enterprise and the crew.
The crew had a five-year mission of exploring the strange new worlds in the Galaxy, to seek new life and other species, and to go where no man has gone before. Desilu Productions first produced the series in 1966 to 1967 before the Paramount Television produced it in 1968 to 1969. It was aired on NBC from September 8, 2023 to June 3, 1969. Despite the low rankings during the airing, the show had made a major cultural influence in the 1970s and had managed to get franchises and another 5 TV series, 12 films, and plenty of book, toys, and game products.
The main character of the film includes Captain James T. Kirk who is the commanding officer of the Enterprise, Commander Spock who is the ship’s science officer and first executive, Dr. Leonard McCoy who s the chief medical officer, Lt. Commander Scotty Scott who is the chief engineer and second officer, and Lt. Nyota Uhura who is the communications officer.
They were also joined by Lt. Hikaru Sulu, the helmsman; Ensign Pavel Chekov, a navigator; Nurse Christine Chapel, the ships first office, and Janice rand, the captain’s yeoman.
