Star Trek Spock And Spock Prime

One of the best scenes that the Star Trek 2009 movie was when the two Spock faced each other both the past and the future, the alternate past Spock was trap in the parallel Star Trek Universe in the year 2233. Leonard Nimoy, the actor playing the original Spock who also played the same character in the famous television series while the younger version of Spock was played by Zachary Quinto. It wasn’t easy for the new actors to play the role of the famous character from the 1964 television series.

The two young actors which was supposed to play the younger version of Kirk and Spock named Chris Greenwood and Zachary Quinto respectively. But the appearance of the original actor like Leonard Nimoy has helped in making the 2009 movie a hit especially with the many Star Trek diehard fans. Although Zachary Quinto a good actor did not disappoint his critics by making sure that he correctly play the part of Spock and not forgetting how the classic Spock’s characters. And of course, he had a lot of help from the original Spock played by Leonard Nimoy. Zachary was given the chance to be able to have a firsthand acting class with the man who knows everything there is to know about the Spock character.

The scene where the two Spock meet was one of the biggest risks that the alternate future made just to make sure that his alternate past won’t make a big mistake that might chance the future forever. Because unlike what most people have seen in the classic television series and past movies that the USS Enterprise-A is already a team under the command of captain Kirk. In this 2009 movie, Spock and Kirk did not get along well when Kirk joined the Starfleet. He accused Kirk of cheating during the Kobayashi Maru simulation, which is one of the tests which most new recruit must take.

Spock played by Zachary Quinto was not convinced that Kirk was able to perfect the test without cheating because he programmed the test himself. This started their silent feud but little did they know that they will be working side by side fighting battles to protect earth in the future. And the future Spock did share a little piece of advice to his past self that he shouldn’t have done because he knows that he would be altering something in the future just by talking to his alternate past.

The future Spock played by Leonard Nimoy knew that no one can stop his alternate past from doing what he intends to do unless he would show himself to him and explain that he is about to do the biggest mistake in his life. And it was successful his alternate past did listen to him and he saved the flow of the future.
