The Legacy of Trip Tucker
One of the wonderful things about Star Trek and all the following franchises of the original TV series is how they formed friendships and families among United Earth citizens and other species from a wide galaxy. If you search now for one character, you will get a full history including parents who worked as this and that. One of the characters from a long line of Star Trek families is Charles Anthony Tucker III or Trip (short for triple) Tucker.
Trip was a noted Starfleet officer who also worked as chief engineer in Enterprise NX-01 somewhere between 2151 and 2155. His parents were Charles Jr. and Elaine. He had a sister named Elizabeth and a brother named Albert. They grew up in Panama City Florida with their parents. He became first officer of Enterprise for awhile as well. He had wanted to join Commander Archer in Axanar but was not selected to go.
On one mission, Trip was impregnated by a Xyrillian engineer named Ah;len, who later on removed the child from Trip to be carried by another host. Trip Tucker was also part of the first team from United Earth to make contact with the Andorians and the Akaali. He was also one of the Enterprise crew who was taken into an alternate timeline in order to save the ship from destruction. He had forged friendships and managed to re-take the Enterprise to go back into their own timeline.
The Tucker Memorial Building on the grounds of the Starfleet Headquarters was built in his honor in the 24th century.
