Star Trek USS Enterprise D Versus Klingon Bird Of Prey How does the Star Trek USS Enterprise D stack up against the Klingon Bird Of Prey? To start with, the USS Enterprise is also called the NCC-1701-D. It was first seen in the first episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. It can also be seen in the final episode of Star Trek: Enterprise. The last time that the USS Enterprise D was shown on television was during Star Trek Generations. Due to a warp core breach, the ship’s stardrive section was lost. The saucer section then crash landed on the surface of the planet Veridian III. Meanwhile, the Klingon Bird-of-Prey was a warhips used by the Klingon Empire. It served the Klingon Defense Forces beginning in the late 23rd century until the late 24th century. Known as a versatile warship, the the Klingon Bird-of-Prey could be deployed in many different missions, It could be used as a scout, raider, patrol ship, and cruiser. The Klingon Birds-of-Prey were divided into several different classes. These are the K’vort-class, B’rel-class and D12-class. By the 2350s, the D12-class was no longer being used because its plasma coils were faulty. Plasma coils were part of the ship’s cloaking systems. During the 2360s, a B’rel-class Bird-of-Prey was often stripped and sent to a scrap heap. However, they could be restored and even fly in space again, as proved by Ferengi DaiMon Lurin. He bought two of these vessels, which still had their cloaking devices. He made some repairs and added a few weapons. These two ships are vastle different from one another, but you can still see them together if you download a free desktop wallpaper for your computer.
