The Human’s Starship in Star Trek
The original USS Enterprise NCC-1701 was launched in 2245 and was built in a floating drydock orbiting Earth over San Francisco. The ship had a counterpart in the alternate reality and in the mirror universe.
The first captain of the ship was Robert April and Christopher Pike before it was commended by Captain James T. Kirk. Its fame was due to the five-year mission of James T. Kirk from 2264 to 2269. It was during this mission that USS Enterprise encountered the Romulans. The ship had 430 crew, 14 science labs, an observation deck, a shuttle bay, and a massive lower deck with a main engineering unit during this mission.
USS Enterprise has an astonishing offense and defense armament. It has forward phaser bands and photon torpedoes. it underwent an upgrade of its system and a replacement or refit of its bridge and warp drive nacelles in 2270. The new Enterprise was commanded by Williard Decker. Captain Kirk took the Enterprise to the Genesis Planet in order to rescue a Spock in 2285 just before it was decommissioned. It was then that the ship was destroyed when Kirk activated the auto-destruct sequence of the ship to prevent it from being under the control and possession of the Klingons. Spock was one of Kirk’s captains.
The USS Eterprise NCC 1701 was a Federation Starfleet under the Constitution class that served the fleet for forty years. It has five clones NCC 1701 A to NCC 1701 D. Marvel at this human starship by downloading free Star Trek USS Enterprise NCC-1701 wallpaper for your computer desktop.
